Just enough time for a quick photo shoot before heading back to school.
Thanks to all the parents who helped out with transport...you are fantastic!
This week we visited the "Touch the Sea Aquarium" in Mapua.
This is a hook for catching big fish (the marine biologist joked that you could use it to catch children if it was baited with a piece of cake).
We met stingrays, eels, crayfish, a seahorse and many other marine creatures that live in the sea around New Zealand.
Hi Room 11,
ReplyDeleteWe like the Aquarium story because its very interesting and we like how you touched the fish in the tank very gently so you didn't hurt them.

Glad you liked the pictures...Jessie was the photographer, she also took most of our aquatic day photos because she had an injured leg and couldn't go in the water.
ReplyDeleteHi Room 9. I liked touching the stingrays....the big one flapped my hand. It was slimey.
